Meet The OWNER
Hi, My name is Fadhillah Rahmawaty Howells but just call me "Dee". I was born and raised in Palembang – South Sumatra.
My family’s heritage is Minang - West Sumatera, Indonesia. They gave me the background, knowledge and desire to start discovering the unique blending of Indonesian spices and ingredients. I moved to and am now live in Australia and became home sick for the beautiful street foods and meals that I grew up with.
With my travelling and living in different regions throughout Indonesia, I decided to re-create the Indonesian Foods, Cakes, Cookies, Snacks, Crackers and Drinks that I was missing. Not forgetting my childhood memories of the street food found in Palembang like Pempek (Palembang Fish cake) and Tekwan (Palembang Fish ball in prawn broth Soup), and Bakso (Traditional Indonesian Meat ball in beef broth soup), I re-created these dishes and they have become my signature meals.
I took the opportunity to re-create all the beautiful, unique and traditional foods that I remember for everyone to enjoy.
As always, I am constantly and will always look to improve the recipes so they continue to grow and meet the expectations of “Authentic, Original and Traditional” Indonesian food.
